Dr. Gary Namie is widely regarded as North America’s foremost authority on Workplace Bullying. Gary, a social psychologist by training, is a “recovering academic” with 21 years experience as a teaching award-winning professor of management and psychology at several universities. He is an author ~ The Bully-Free Workplace (2011) & The Bully At Work (2009, 2nd ed.). He is a researcher ~ 2010 & 2007 national, scientific U.S. Workplace Bullying Surveys. He’s a veteran consultant who know business and its dark side. Gary was corporate director for two hospital conglomerates, and is the President and Founder of Work Doctor®, Inc.

Gary is founder and spokesperson for the U.S. Workplace Bullying movement. Together he and his wife, Dr. Ruth, launched the Workplace Bullying Institute in mid-1997. He’s the media go-to expert with over 950 interviews and appearances on TV, radio, in magazines and newspapers. Gary also leads the national Healthy Workplace Campaign to lobby state legislatures to enact anti-bullying laws.
